Product Description

bioGenous™ Human Liver Ductal (Expansion) Organoid Kit is a serum-free culture medium for human liver ductal organoids (hLDs) derived from adult stem cells. In the human liver ductal organoid expansion medium, hLDs are predominantly composed of cholangiocytes, marked by the expression of SOX9 and CK19, reflecting the natural ductal epithelium architecture and cell type composition. Human liver ductal organoids display hallmarks of the ductal epithelium in terms of architecture, cell type composition, and self-renewal dynamics, therefore hold great promise for studies of human liver development and disease.
